When I started at the welding school Travis was my first teacher and one of my favorites. He spends a lot of time with students on whatever process we were working on to make sure we understood everything about that process and how to be as good as we can. He was very patient with us and motivated us to always want to do better than the last weld we did. When we did test plates if they didn't pass he would point out what was the cause of the failure and show us how to fix that problem he would always say just let your next weld be your best and that stuck with me still to my welding career.
