TIG Welding Program:

This course will offer individuals the opportunity to learn different crafts made from steel as well as
different metals. Individuals will learn proper welding safety, set-up, and PPE.

Program Description

Introduce students to the fundamentals of welding. Hands-on TIG training, TIG cutting torch instructed on safety, use of a plasma cutter, and oxyacetylene practices. This will assist students in getting entry-level welding jobs.

Program Objectives

Upon completion of the Welding Program, students will:

Students will learn the processes and safety issues involved in the usage of the various welding gases.
Students will develop the skills needed to weld.
Students will learn the basics of welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Students will learn the basic setup configuration of various welding equipment.
Students illustrate proper use and safety on all equipment used in TIG welding.
